Guidelines

Personal messages of support or advice to the author of a message should be sent to the individual's personal email address and not to Lezlist.

Generalised debates or opinions on issues of interest to older lesbian are welcome as are well-researched articles linked to issues, activities, or publications.

Please do not forward postings from Lezlist unless there is a clear request from the original author to ‘spread the word’.

Lezlist reserves the right to remove any content that it determines, in its sole discretion, to be inappropriate and in violation of our principles and guidelines.

Membership is at the discretion of www.olderdykes.org and any member may be unsubscribed. Any legal matter must be dealt with under NSW law.

Please learn to delete extra repeated parts of messages that appear when you click reply. Women who have a limited mailbox size or slow connections will appreciate you.

Lezlist Aims

Lezlist aims to share information and ideas about older lesbians and to promote the development of friendship and community amongst older dykes at an international level. We recognize that we are a diverse group and may have very different ways of thinking about key issues in our lives. There is no 'one way' or 'right way' to be an older lesbian.

Please THINK before you hit send! One well thought out message is of much greater value than two (or three or four or five) quick notes.

Role of the Lezlist Administrator

This is a moderated email list.

The Lezlist Administrator takes technical responsibility for keeping Lezlist going. Members may have personal correspondence with the Lezlist Administrator to clarify technical matters – generally problems with joining, receiving or sending messages, or answering Lezlist requests.

The Lezlist Administrator also takes responsibility for facilitating discussion on Lezlist and reminding members when necessary of the principles and guidelines within which discussions take place.

In the event that conflict between Lezlist members occurs, the Lezlist Administrator will attempt to mediate but, ultimately, may unsubscribe members if necessary.

Although the administrators and moderators of Lezlist will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages prior to posting. All messages express the views of the author alone. The owners of Lezlist will not be held responsible for the content of any message.

The owners of Lezlist have the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.
