Ten Forty Matrix is an informal group of feminist lesbians over forty who have been socially and politically active in Sydney since 1987.

We enjoy discussion and debate on the issues we face in work, life and at home, and hold regular fun events to keep us in touch with the lighter side of life.

The labrys, which is incorporated into the logo design, is a double-edged sword or axe - a symbolic weapon of the Amazon women, an ancient community of warrior women who lived without men. The logo was originally created by Matrix Guild Victoria.
